Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM)

Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is the nodal agency of the Government of Kerala for startup entrepreneurship development and business incubation, with nearly two decades of experience in supporting technology-based startups across the state. KSUM’s mandate includes planning and managing Technology Business Incubators and accelerators, promoting innovation, facilitating R&D and industry–institute collaboration, and supporting academic entrepreneurship through Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDCs) in colleges and universities.

With its state-wide network of more than 40 incubators, covering approximately 10 lakh sq. ft. of incubation space, KSUM provides critical infrastructure, mentoring, seed funding support, prototyping facilities, and acceleration programs—making it a foundational institutional partner for MiZone.

Through this enablement, MiZone was able to establish and operate the MiZone Startup Incubation Centre and integrate into Kerala’s broader startup ecosystem, gaining institutional credibility, access to resources, and sustained technical and entrepreneurial support.

KCCP Ltd.

KCCP Ltd — a Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of Kerala — has extended land and building infrastructure support for MiZone’s incubation centre. This partnership provided the physical foundation needed for incubation space, making it possible to host multiple startups and SMEs under one roof.

By enabling plug-and-play infrastructure, KCCP helps MiZone reduce startup overheads and focus on mentoring, scale-up, and ecosystem enablement. Backed by decades of experience in traditional and industrial sectors, this public-sector support strengthens MiZone’s institutional credibility while helping bridge legacy industries with modern entrepreneurship

Chambers of Commerce &
MSME Trade Bodies

MiZone collaborates actively with local and national-level chambers and MSME-focused trade bodies to expand reach, resources, and advocacy support for its member enterprises. Key partners include the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce & Industries for MSME (CCIMSME), both of which play an important role in strengthening the regional and national MSME ecosystem.

These collaborations support policy advocacy, market access, supply-chain linkages, and trade opportunities for startups and SMEs within the MiZone ecosystem. Through chamber networks, MiZone members gain access to regulatory guidance, financing and institutional networks, export–import facilitation, and broader business connectivity—critical for SME scale-up and integration into wider trade and industry platforms.
